49er event in Winston-Salem

Attention Fellow 49ers:

You are cordially invited to the Piedmont Club September 30th to attend a reception for fellow Charlotte Alumnus Richard Durham who is running for District Court Judge of Forsyth County. Richard is a 1976 graduate and one of our biggest supporters, serving on the Athletic Foundation and the Alumni Board of Governors. Richard has been practicing law in Winston-Salem for the past 21 years and has been deeply involved in the local community. Please visit www.durhamforjudge.com to learn more about Richard and his campaign.

The event will take place from 5:30pm to 7:30pm in the Pilot View Room of the Piedmont Club (Located at the top of the BB&T building in downtown WS). Cocktails and Hors d’oeuvres will be provided. We are expecting a special appearance by a certain head basketball coach we all know and love. A $49(but not limited to) campaign contribution is appreciated to go toward helping Richard’s campaign. Please take advantage of the great opportunity to meet with Richard and other fellow alumni.

Please RSVP by calling (336)558-5218 or emailing at info@durhamforjudge.com
We would appreciate your RSVP no later than 9/28.

We will also be having a fundraising event Thursday, October 7th at the Millennium Center in downtown Winston-Salem with live music, food court and beverages. The event is open to everyone so please come out and bring your friends and neighbors. The event will last from 5:00pm to 9:00pm.

Even if you are unable to attend any of the events please remember Richard on Nov. 2nd when you go to the polls. District Court Judge is a non-partisan race and must be voted on individually. If you vote straight ticket you are NOT voting in the District Court Judge race.

Look forward to seeing you all there,

We appreciate your support!!!
