You do realize I was being ironic or facetious or one other of those fancy words with that question right?
As in, I think he would have been better to stay here where heās the man.

Poor Nate Davis, never getās any love, always Alex and Larry
I am kidding by the way
Heāll be the man there. He would be at most programs
clt says good luck to spencer, hope he likes to run block in the cold
Best of luck to him. Thatās all I got.
I get the mindset of once they leave they arenāt Niners and I somewhat feel the same in many ways/situations. But hard to fault some of these this year given the circumstances having underachieved as a team and completely new staff coming in. So, I canāt help be interested where some end up and seeing how they do.
With that said, Iām still hopeful DuBose decides to enter the draft (and be drafted) this year and not play for someone else. Current leaks have him linked to either Clemson, WV or Miami for what itās worth.
clt says dubose should go pro
Another player gone. I would not be surprised to see more. I really like the tweet from the father of Tyson Clawson who said it best. Being afraid of competing means they already lost.

LISTEN!!! To all the young men thinking about jumping in the portal. Just because your team/coach has brought in another transfer. P5 school with stars behind his name doesn't make him better than you. NEVER SHY AWAY FROM COMPETITION! Bottom line, hard work will ALWAYS WIN!

Great to see this comment by Clawsonās dad. I know the family personally and glad theyāre ALL IN for future NINER success.
Itās a.l nice sentiment and live the work ethic, but hard work doesnāt always win. Talent plus hard work wins. Just an important asterisk there.
So I see that JohnnybMartin is going to Stony Point. Good on hom.
Spencer is heading to Minnesota. He will do well there.
Knox Boyd will be heading to UMas. Big mistake on his part IMHO. He could have been special here.
Nothing on DuBose, Thompson or others.
Thinking Dubost lands at Auburn, Ole Miss or LSU
Dubose going Pro.
If confirmed it is a wise move if he can go 1-2 rounds. Anything lower is disaster.
What is this opinion based out on?
There are 63 players that will be selected in the first two rounds this season. Does every player selected after that a disaster?
Without knowing what schools are interested in him draft is a good move. 1.2,3,4,5, wherever he gets drafted gives him a shot. With his size and abilities thatās all he needs.
Now if he has an offer from an SEC school and heās rolling dice on draft thatās probably the wrong move as going to SEC school would elevate his draft positioning next year.
He would also be rolling the dice with an SEC school. Being at a school doesnāt mean youāll get looks or the ball thrown to you accurately. He could be the best player on the field but if he doesnāt have a line to give a QB time or a QB who can put the ball in the right windows he could wind up hurting his draft stock by staying in.
Thatās true - there is no guarantee no matter what he does. At the end of the day if his goal is the NFL and heās gonna get drafted based on his agents info then thatās the right call. If heās worried about draft position and money then he needs to find the right high profile school.
