IMO zero chance comes back. I think his reasons for leaving have remained unchanged.
See that Detroit Mercy transfer Antoine Davis has Terps among his final five. If he lands in College Park, will be interesting to see how he and JY “coexist” as teammates.
Interesting Garcia has not landed somewhere yet.
He barely got to play last season, probably didn’t help his stock
1656 total transfers with 358 D1 teams. That comes out to an average of 4.63 transfers per team.
We may have been ok next season if Jahmir had not transferred. I see that Maryland landed a competing PG that’s slightly higher ranked than him. I hope they didn’t recruit over him and he knew about it. SMH. Still say this could be a big mistake for him.

I think he’s going to have to transfer down and I would have though a lower level team would have jumped all over him by now. He still has the potential and attributes that would stand out in a lower level conference.
Just curious as to who the competing PG is? I’m still trying to get a confirmation on a Rothstein tweet about a former Niner target commiting to Rice.
Antoine Davis from Detroit Mercy but latest news shows he has not committed to Maryland yet. Still mulling options. I had seen something before about him committing to Maryland but apparently it’s not settled.
I DON’T like the fact they are still recruiting him. With Jahmir they have their 6’1” high scoring star PG. they don’t need another one.
I want what’s best for Jahmir.

Maybe they feel like JY is more likely to go to Europe or G league? Hard to fault MD to keep recruiting others when JY is still talking draft and proball.
