49er Women get road win at St. Joes

Niners (18-4, 7-1(T-3rd), NolanRPI: 56) pick up another important win, this time on the road vs. a RPI top-50 opponent, likely
their last such matchup of the season (or vs top-100 for that matter). Very legitimate chance
for this team to finish 24-4 with a top-50 RPI. Jennifer Hailey had her 8th straight double-double
size=15px and tied the school’s career block record. Next up: Butler at home, Weds 7pm

Comeback from 8 down at half on the road against a team previously undefeated in conference. Looking good for a top 2 finish in the A10 (knock on wood).

Love it!!

The 49ers have become the “Xavier” of Women’s A-10 basketball. Katie Meier->Amanda Butler->Karen Aston->Cara Consuegra and we stay a conference leader. Keep it up ladies!

Women are 56 in the RPI. SOS is going to weaken by the time the season is out so I’m not sure how much we can improve on this number even winning out. RealTimeRpi has us predicted to finish at 23-5 with just one more loss at Richmond. A good run in the A-10 Tourney could be the difference in the NCAA and NIT.
