Ive only caught a handful of gsmes this year, but this was the best I’ve seen us look all year. Im hoping we carry the good play into the tourney.
Any initial thoughts on our seeding? Any chance we get a first round bye??

Very doubtful. Should get a first round home match.
Despite the result today, SMU likely gets a bye into the second round.
Edit: Well, hold on. Our RPI went up to 14 and the top 16 get byes, so maybe so.
Second edit: teams and brackets announced 1 PM tomorrow.

I tried looking up the penalty kick rules. Feignting is permitted in the run up to the ball, as far as I could tell. I guess that’s one reason that more PK’s aren’t saved.
The keeper has to stay on the line until the ball is kicked, anyway, so stopping and starting shouldn’t have any effect.

No one has mentioned this. but I will. The foul by SMU#5 as the clock expired was totally classless.
Our guy’s lack of response to it may have saved a couple of post match fights.
