Although Ohio State has fielded a men’s soccer team since 1953, didn’t make the NCAAT until 2000. Lone College Cup came in 2007 when the Buckeyes lost to Wake 2-1 in the championship game.
What I would really like to know is why they are coming out with a top 16 with two weeks of regular season play left. That, in itself, is reason to doubt the legitimacy of the list.

Doing same thing as with football and basketball. Last year AAC had SMU (#4) and FIU (#9) in the initial top 16 ranking, with former league foe Marshall #1.
