This is the only place I could find any verbiage around the regular season, Charlotte and FAU considered Co-Champs with Charlotte earning #1 seed via tie break.
They’re going to say that, but while I was half joking, the tie breaker is clearly defined in the official soccer policy I posted from the American website. I don’t know how you can award a co-champ when one of them lost to the other head to head. It’s nonsensical.

Since the American plays a tournament to determine a champion that receives the automatic bid to the NCAAT, regular season champ - while nice - isn’t the ultimate goal.

This is a big one.
Besides a shot at the three peat of the AAC championship, this one represents a chance to redo the choke job we had against FIU last time (0-1 loss) which would have sealed the regular season championship for us. Also, I think a win here is necessary to ensure we get an NCAA bid (currently #43 in the RPI).
We could conceivably lose the final and still get in, but it gets dicey if we lose tonight. Probably a no I’m guessing.
Need all the support we can muster.
The weather should be better than the last few days. Around mid 50s at match time.
