Only conclusion I can discern is that we were penalized for the Wofford tie, because there is no way playing to a 2-2 tie on the road vs #7 warrants the drop to 25.

SC gets away with a trip in the box and 5 seconds later score the go ahead goal while we are still in shock.
Saw a number of replays, didn’t see a trip. I have very green glasses but just didn’t see it.
Watch it again. Defender misses the ball with his right foot, then lunges again with that same leg and the side of his leg makes contact with our attackers leg causing him to lose balance and go down just as he was shooting.
It wasn’t an egregious trip, but it still was a trip by letter of the law.
The review said the call stands which means if the ref had called the trip initially it would have held and been a PK. It was very close.
We’re getting out-classed tonight. I know it’s hot, but we see sluggish. We can’t control possession and are giving the ball away too much. Hope we can turn it around in the second.
I think we were absolutely outplayed in the first 20 minutes (as their coach said too) but after Langan made subs it has been a much more even game.
SC is good though. Maybe the best team we have played so far. I just hate bad officiating.

SC outplayed us in the first half, but we have absolutely outplayed them all 2nd half. Hit the post, just missed wide, missed handball… So many missed opportunities.

Bad bad loss.
We played inexcusably flat to start, got screwed twice, but also missed at least a half dozen golden opportunities in the 2nd half to tie this one. Most of those are ones we should have put in.
That probably is all she wrote for our at large hopes. Better win the league.
Damnit. Very disappointed. This probably would have put us in the top 15.
