Dedicated the win to Tom Whitestone and I believe 2 former players.

The Blazers have typically been a W for the Niners, with CLT leading the all time series 27-9-6. In fact, the last time UAB prevailed came in 2010.
Anyway, after a decade and a half of mostly futility, see that the 2026 Blazers are 4-1-1 and 1-0 in conference play with that win vs USF. Niners need to bring it from the get go.

This head ref should never be allowed to call a college game again

I badly wanna see a replay of that GK takedown in the box that they waived off after VAR. That seemed like an utterly ridiculous call.
Will be interesting to see where the Bears and Niners stand when they meet in the regular season finale at Jen Gaber Field.

These next two road games against Temple (0-6-2) and ETSU (4-4-1) are games where we need complete, convincing victories. We really haven’t had one since the season opener against West Virginia. Taking care of business in both of these games would give us some much-needed momentum heading into the October homestand.
