We won 3-1! Man, am I cold! We play University of Alabama at Birmingham Sunday night.
Weather was cold. Niners were hot. Furman was chippy. Referee was incompetent. Crowd was large. UAB is next.
great win! yellow cards all over, apparently.
and in spite of that…
are we at home sunday?
Early, I believe we’ll be on the road.
Furman must have a fine acting school, with all the dramatic flopping around they were doing on the field.
Yes, we travel to Birmingham on Sunday. Play at 7 PM.

Congrats on the win guys. What a game. For all who couldn’t make the game. It was a great one. Tonight was tough against 12 Fur man players. But, the good guys will always come out with the W. We are undefeated at home. Let’s take care of business on Sunday.

NCAA Men’s Soccer National Champions 2011!!!
(It’s possible, and fairly likely if we keep playing like this!)
Can anyone explain what was going on with no tweeting? Got a few tweets from @JoshRivals and @DavidScott before the game saying they wouldn’t be able to tweet as much during the game. Something about the NCAA cracking down on tweeting at games.
How the hell does the NCAA think they can govern tweeting?

I’m not sure about what was going on last night at the game, either. The “drums”, the “horns” at student section were being mute. And, “Zombie Nation” after every goal we scored was not there, either.
Not FBI, CIA or even uncle Sam get to do such horrible things as NCAA. NCAA is the worst organization on earth. Fire NCAA ! ! ! ;D
Observer chimed in this morning on the win. . .

I’d kill for one of those jerseys.
Great win guys! Loved the pressure set up by good 1 and 2 touch passing, patience with the ball, using all of the field, and good ball skills under pressure. Your pace starting the 2nd half was fantastic.
PS: Still waiting for my opportunity to buy my official Niner mens soccer jersey, as well as official golf team polo.

Just a short drive out to Premier Soccer each of you could have one, too. And, if you have been good . . .Santa may bring you one.

Anyone renting a van for the Road Trip? I’ll chip in some $ to go.
Hell NNG, could probably get a couple of school vans for free.
If there’s no road trip, can we get it on TV or the Internet?
UAB is seeded 11th.
Observer seems to think soccer has bball style of seedings.

You will have to dig deep in your heart to forgive these flunkies (Chapel hole finest). They are legends in their own minds and just because of that reason they don’t get out much. ;D
I wish we were playing UNC-CH instead of UAB. Much closer.

Thanks for that link. I had no idea. Maybe I can talk Santa into getting me one.
It’s Game Day. Slay the Trail Blazers.
