I guess you simply do not understand. No one is complaining about a coach that takes us to the playoffs most years.

We all want to win and at a minimum we want to look like we belong on the field/court. Soccer may not have a stellar record this year, but by all accounts, we’ve been the better team in most games and just struggled to score the ball. Coach has earned himself an off-year or two, or maybe even three, before calling for his head.

Shout out to the lads for beating previously undefeated FIU in the conference semifinal today. That should be enough to get us to the NCAA, but beating ODU on their home pitch Sunday will be sweet after we outplayed them here, but lost on a very questionable penalty kick goal.

Not a snarky question, actually curious. With our record I figured it wasn’t possible, but I don’t follow college soccer closely enough to know.
We might get an at-large bid, but I really doubt it will happen. We don’t have the best record to be picked. If New Mexico get selected, we better get selected…
Probably going to have an RPI in the thirties. IMO, we should be in. I’m not on the selection committee, however.
Hopefully, this will be moot point late Sunday afternoon.
