49ers Men's Soccer ⚽

I might go to the Maryland game next week. My office is only about 25 minutes from there and its not often we play the #1 team in the nation at anything, much less when we’re ranked in the top 15 as well.
Niner89, don’t you think that statement is a little bold?

I’m sure you will see something about us
after we lose, which may not happen often this year.

Everyone needs to check out this team.
36 pt is about as big and as bold as I could make it, 49r9r.

Listen to 49r9r, everyone should come out this Saturday at 7:00PM and check these guys out. They are really good and fun to watch.

Just catching up on A-10 futbol and looks like Charlotte and Xavier are the class of the league in 2011. Both are ranked with only one loss each and, in fact, are the only two league schools with winning records! Looks like the 49ers-Musketeers match on 10/28 at Transamerica could be for the regular season title.

GO NINERS! BEAT THE CAMELS!!!

So when we beat Maryland does that mean we’re the ACC regular season champs?

you should. I jump at any chance to see the niners! Went and watched our ladies soccer here earlier this year.

We’re ready for the terps.

Is Jennings Rex hurt? He hasn’t played in about the last three games. He was at the Campbell game, but on the bench.

Only if it is printed in the paper.

Could we revised this thread tittle to #14 won again last night? May be we should wait 'til we beat MD then change it. ;D

I’m going to the game tomorrow night.

If we win, that would have to put us in the 5-8 range.

The way we play this season, we are having a great chance handing the terps their first L of the season. You should have a great time at the game tomorrow night. It would be cool if I could make it to support the team and visit home at the same time. Wear Green and Go Niners ! ! !

Thanks 4ever49er. I will be sure to watch it.
Thanks 4ever49er. I will be sure to watch it.
Radio. This is from the Md. athletics website. I heard them a couple of years ago when we played there and they seemed fair and knowledgeable. I seem to remember we took them to overtime that day.

O screwed up our ranking again. That article says #19 which we were going into the Virginia game (three games ago), but charlotte49ers.com says we’ve been #14 for the last two games we’ve played against Clemson and Campbell (and I tend to believe them more for some reason ::slight_smile: ).

Emf, at one time on this board, someone would have criticized you for pointing out that error.

You will need to find it in your heart to forgive “the disturber”, since they are located in chapel hole and they don’t get out much, either. ;D

If we win this game tonight it will be HUGE. We’ve been in this position before in other sports as well: rolling along, kickin’ ass, getting national (and local) attention, climbing the rankings, etc. I hope we can break the past trend and and get this milestone win and continue the NINER juggernaut all the way to the College Cup.

Leaving the office to go to the game now.
