I’ve been wondering how many games we would get on the A10 TV Network in our first season in the conference. The number is 4. Here they are:
Charlotte at Dayton - Saturday, January 7, 2006 @12pm
George Washington at Charlotte Saturday, January 21, 2006 @ 4pm
Charlotte at Richmond Saturday, January 28, 2006 @ 7pm
Richmond at Charlotte Wednesday, February 15, 2006 @ 7pm
All of these games will be available on the ESPN FullCourt Package ($99) along with 6 of the A-10 Tournament games (Quarterfinals and Semi-Finals). The Championship is on ESPN. Not sure about the 1st Round games. Top 4 teams get byes.
This link shows the “clearance” info, which I assume has something to do with the licenses they had to apply for to carry the game. It lists all of the A-10 games on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, CSTV and the A-10 Network. With the advent of ESPNU along with CSTV, I was hoping we would have at least a couple of games on their networks to add to our TV coverage. Not so, though.
Anyways, if you have season tickets and the FullCourt package you will see 20 of the 29 games live on the regular season schedule as of now. Not bad.
As mentioned in the A10 scheduling thread, there’s a good chance a few more road games will be picked up locally. Also, some A10 TV network games will carried locally. I don’t have any details yet.
You would think as big as college sports is in the Carolinas that they would carry one of those stations. Come to think of it I think ESPNU is even based in Charlotte.
So how many games do you think we will be able to watch?
To my account 6 games were being televised nationally and now 4 on the A10 network which makes 10.

How many more can we expect? [/b]
i’m pretty sure local bars will pick up the A10 network. Or at least they should with direct tv or satellite.
