A little fun fact

We are 0-2 at home when Charlie Coley “fros” his hair out and rocks the Afro…coincidence?

don’t get me wrong, it looks cool and all but i was just saying…

did you see coley today? not why we lost.

He almost had a triple double, and led the team in scoring. He had 7 steals and 7 boards, too.

according to lutz live, coley was going to be a game-time decision. he’s been under the weather.

Haha yeah thats why we lost…

Coley has been amazing this season. Every game I realize more and more how lucky we are to have him. He’s so athletic, plays smart, and clearly has a BIG heart.

Maybe it’s just Unlucky that he has the Fro? My girlfriend said the exact same thing… and a couple people in the band ALMOST asked him about it before the game… but they decided not to.

I wasn’t bashing coley or anything…he is one of my favorite players on the team, but that fro is unlucky.

lets be real, the lack of the power stache is unlucky.

keep the fro - mack, get a box cut. lets take this baby oldschool.

somebody needs to grow a mullet.

i think sean should. it would give opposing teams something else to fear besides his lack luster perimeter game.

well, I’m going to take the high road from your unnecessary jab there and say that yes, the tattoos would make him the leading candidate for the mullet.

Kind of like the one that Christopher “kid” reid had in house party?

I think the real reason we lost was that our starters played a total of 131 minutes and had a grand total of 0 assists between them. I think Gerrity led the team w/ 4 and no one else had more than 1.

Someone has to make a basket before an assist can be credited. 35% shooting won’t give you too many assists.

I think its more the start times that hurt us, than the fro. Has anyone noticed 5 of our losses have come in afternoon games?
Has anyone noticed 5 of our losses have come in afternoon games?
I’ve noticed, and this is not the first season we’ve coincidentally lost many of our afternoon games.

You’re right AND it has coincided with our very limited post-season success the last few years (obviously, about 50% of tourney games are in the afternoon). I don’t know why it is, but we really don’t tend to play well when tip-off is before 7pm. ???

Of course, tourney games are tougher to win too because the teams are usually better. But we do seem sluggish in a lot of our afternoon games. Maybe the team doesn't have a good game-day schedule for getting going earlier? I always sucked at morning races (track), probably mostly because my eating schedule was thrown off. Total speculation of course, it could be just coincidence.

First thing I told my dad Saturday when we took the floor: “Oh no, the 'fro is back”.

It’s working for Charlie, but it kills Leemire. His two worst games of the year have been when the 'fro appears. Coincidence? Perhaps, but I would rather not chance it again. Note to Coley: No 'fro for the SBU game!!!:ohmy:

My dad and I sit in the family section. Lately, we’ve been really conscious of cursing since it is the family section. I am certain this is why the Niners lost to Richmond. I promise to swear like an injured sailor from now on.
