Well this will cheer some people up…
Have had a love-hate relationship with Chris Martin & Co. with it being mostly the latter for some time now. The first 3 albums are in my CD collection but basically lost me on Viva la Vida. The only reason I even listened to 2021’s “Coloratura” is because Steven Wilson mentioned it in an Instagram post later picked up by Brit music publication Prog.
I’m not a huge Coldplay fan; however , I did attend a concert in DC because my daughter wanted to go. We both had a good time and the concert was great. I had heard lots of the songs but didn’t realize they were Coldplay songs. The light show the band puts on is awesome as well, imo.

I say let’s redistribute his wealth, starting with her!

Saw the Pink Floyd drummer, Nick Mason, on an episode of The Grand Tour. Dude has a car collection consisting of a Bentley, Bugatti, Ferrari, Maserati, McLaren and another Ferrari, a 250 GTO which he paid like $50k for that’s now worth over $40 million.
He let Jeremy drive his Ferrari when someone else (Chris Evans - the British one, or Jay Kay?) backed out on them.
Cool dude.
Sadly, all of the original members have passed, including the last two this year.
Bummer. Fantastic musician, but he let his weight get out of control.
Saw him play on both the girlfriend and 100% fun tours. Love those records (altered beast too). Play them all the time.
Girlfriend, besides being a kickass guitar rock record, has one of my favorite covers ever, plus the liner notes say something like “this record was engineered to be played LOUD, so TURN IT UP!”
