HP, beat me to it! Saw both games in Charlotte - should have won the first meeting in the TOC at the Coliseum. In fact, that was the weekend we lost to USC twice - South Carolina and Southern California. Had both those games won and still found a way to lose both! Of course, had we won against the Gamecocks, we would have played the Tar Holes in the TOC title game. C’est la vie!

I was fortunate to see all 3 games…I think the Columbia game went to OT and was a come from behind win by USC.

Tell him Odom wanted no part of the final game of the series. And it would be fine to remind him that the 49ers “defeated” the Cocks in two scrimmage contests, for whatever that is worth. :rolleyes:
Mike, the columbia game didn’t go to ot. I don’t know if I would say I was fortunate(b/c I wanted to gut myself after 2 of them), but I saw all three games. We sucked major buttocks in Columbia. I would like the chance to even the series.
