Anyone been watching it on the History Chanel?

I’m a history guy so I eat this stuff up.

I’ve watched a few of them. I like the show a lot, but I hate that they have celebs on there talking about historical events. Usually these shows have professors doing that sort of thing. What the hell do Cheryl Crow and Michael Douglas know about the hardships of the American pioneers?

oh yeah. I was gonna post something about it but I didn’t think anyone else was watching it. It’s an awesone series. The first one was awesome with the revolution

I saw the AR one.
I didn’t know a 2nd episode had come out yet.

The Prof/Dr from the Obama/Cop/Harvard beer summit? Please… I can do without the talking heads (most of them) I really don’t give a shit what Aaron Sorkin thinks about the Boston Tea Party.

Otherwise it is a good series thus far. I think this is a good way to present people who otherwise have no desire to watch anything Hisrory, an easy to digest presentation.

There was one before the AR one, Rebels I think. The 3rd one is about the expansion West and Lincoln

Yep, my wife usually doesn’t like history shows but she enjioyed watching the 1st episode with me.

I DVR’ed the 1st 3 and have watched the 1st 2, Rebels and AR. I think the next one I have is Westward. The Civil War will be the next episode on Sunday. Looking forward to it.

Okay, it was the Rebels I saw, not the AR. It was leading up to the AR. It was about 2 in morning, & I was sleepy.
