Pending reference checks and state approval, I have accepted a job in New Bern, NC. It kills me to leave Charlotte, as I have a ton of great friends here, love the city, and not to mention basketball season is about t start, but it’s a great opportunity and NB is a cool little town.
So the question is this: any of you guys live on the NC coast? Pork Chop will be right down the road from me in Morehead City, so I look forward to turning MHC and NB upside down with him. Anyone else live in the area?
By the way I’ll still come back for as many games as I possibly can. I’d have to be stranded in Antarctica before I missed more than a few Niners homes games!

Yeah… looks like it And that KILLS me because these bus trips are the greatest thing ever. However, I’ll only be about an hour away from ECU, so i WILL be at the game. Nick will probably be glad to know he doesn’t have to worry about bailing me out of jail or getting me a bodyguard.

Never took a class at Charlotte. My high school girlfriend did. She’d sneak me into Pine Hall on the weekends. I saw my first ever college basketball game. I got hooked on Dinkins. (We had Dinkins AND Williams in the backcourt that year, 88-89.) I’ve been a fan ever since.

WOW - I may have issues with your politics at times, but the fact that you never took a class here - but you are still such a supporter after all these years is awesome! You have my respect for sticking around through these lean years.

Yeah anipal, that’s freakin awesome. I always assumed you were a student here back in the late 80’s/ early 90’s. You’re the man for sticking with the team through thick and thin all these years. And NWA is right, I plan on OWNING ecu. I looking forward to frequenting the local watering holes with you and Pork Chop!
