Anybody see Bilas and Lavin get into it ???

They were talking about bubble teams and they were discussing IU and Bilas said they were out and LAvin was trying to say they were like Mich. St. last year and they played a really hard schedule and the committe would take that in to account and Bilas came back and said IU hasn’t beat anyone and Lavin shot back MSU didn’t beat anyone last year and Bilas said yes they did. Lavin gets pissed and says" That right Jay your from Duke and the allmighty ACC, you know everything".

It was classic…

Earlier they had been talking about Mike DAvis and whether he would be fired and Bilas thought he would and said he thought it was a bad idea for schools to hired their interim coaches full time and that is rarely works out and Lavin brisseled at that and said he lasted at UCLA for 7 years when the average coach since Wooden has only lasted 3 years.

That wouldve been worth seeing.

I missed that… sounds like it was funny though. Bilas didn’t call in to MSP this morning… maybe they got into a fight after the cameras cut off and Bilas has a broken jaw or something.

Maybe Lavin had him whacked.

Bilas probably slipped on Lavin’s leftover hair gel when he got up out of the chair.

Indiana is 13-11 currently with Michigan St and Wisconsin left to play in 2 of their three remaining games. Even if IU wins out, they will still need to win two games in the Big 10 tourney to reach Michigan St.'s 18-12 mark of last season. Lavin needs to do some research before running his trap. Georgia got in a few years ago with a 16-14 record, but IU will do well to even reach that.

Don’t forget their “win” against us.

Indiana has beat #20 Wisconsin. That’s it. unless they go really far in the big ten tourney and lose to illinois in the final. Wins vs Wisconsin and Michigan State will help though.

Sun, Feb 27 (10) Michigan St. 12:00 pm
Tue, Mar 1 at (20) Wisconsin 9:00 pm
Sat, Mar 5 Northwestern 4:30 pm

they probably wont beat those teams though. So bilas is right. They won’t make the dance.

Lavin is a douche.

He’s somewhere down the evolutionary chain between Jim Harrick and Quinn Snyder.

doesn’t bilas work for a lawfirm in charlotte? i’m sure i just saw him at lunch downtown. he was heading out in a hurry. does he fly from espn in conn. after the show, work his day job and head back that night? he needs to head to halton tonite.

I think they’re grooming Lavin to be the new digger whenever he kicks the bucket, you know a new coaching failure who offers useless and often biased insight.

Damn I hate I missed this…

You just KNOW that if the Hosers miss the dance they’re gonna blame it on the loss to us, totally ignoring how crappy they’ve played otherwise. What a bunch of WHINERS. They make us look non-whiney.

Non-whiney. I like that. Like most excellently, non-heinous!
