Ari Stewart - Wake Forest transfer

Stewart is flying out to LA, so I’m guessing that the USC mentioned in the article is the Trojans, not the Gamecocks.

Ari Stewart, 6-7 small forward, Wake Forest: I wrote about Haith's preference to add at least one -- and more likely two -- transfers in 2011, and Stewart would fit the bill. He hails from the same high school program -- Wheeler -- as former MU standout J.T. Tiller and averaged 8.5 points and 4.4 rebounds as a sophomore for the Demon Deacons. His minutes dwindled late in the year and he was suspended for the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament for academic issues, according to the Winston-Salem Journal.Stewart would have to sit out a year but could learn the intricacies of Haith's system and give the Tigers another veteran presence starting in 2012, when he would have two years of eligibility left. But that's if he settles on Missouri. He's attracting interest from other suitors, including Southern California, which he visited over the weekend. The Los Angeles Daily News reported Sunday that he's also considering Texas and Charlotte.
