A new name on the scene…
We are apparently going hard after Arinze Onuaku, a 6’9, 255 PF/C from Duval HS in Lanham, MD.
He is playing in the Adidas Super 64 in Vegas. Assistants from Maryland, Penn State and Georgia were in the gym watching him, while Lutz was there in person to see him as well. After the game, Arinze said that Georgia, Michigan, Maryland, Charlotte, Georgetown, St. John’s and St. Joe’s were chasing him. He’ll decide in the fall.
According to Rivals, he has scholarship offers from: Georgetown, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, Pitt, Syracuse. I’m sure we’ll be in there to offer as well.
He is a 3 star player by Blue Chip Hoops, but not currently ranked. He is a 2 star player according to Rivals.
