Couldn’t help but notice that the upper tier teams of the Big East have had a great year. Cinci isn’t on that list.

How many A10 teams will qualify for the A10 tournament? And how many will get byes?

The Top 4 teams get byes. Then it’s

#12 vs. #5
#11 vs. #6
#10 vs. #7
#9 vs. #8

My question is - What happens after that? Do they re-seed all the remaining teams or do they have a bracket where the #9/#8 winner plays the #1 seed?

To be honest - I don’t care where we’re seeded (we clinched an A-10 Tourney spot) - just as long as we aren’t the unlucky team that draws Duquesne on the 1st day. That team will exhaust you!

Ahem. WE CLINCHED AN A-10 TOURNAMENT SPOT! WE’RE GOING TO THE POST-SEASON KIND OF! That’s exciting. I thought for some reason that only 10 teams made it to the A-10 Tourney which, on reflection, is completely stupid.

I’d say it doesn’t really matter where we’re seeded because I think we’re either going to lose our first game by 20 or go on a tear and win the whole thing. Feel free to lean towards either option depending on whether you’re realistic or hopeful.

oh yippee. we made our on freaking conference tournament

I think Moss is leaning towards the “lose the first game by 20” option. I think I’m choosing that option as well.

I think it’s a safe bet.

no, I think we could win the tournament, but just as I think that, I know we can lose by 30 in the opening round.

Its never a good sign to be excited just for making your conference tournament

Typical seeding after the first day, survivor…
#9/#8 winner vs. #1
#10/#7 winner vs. #2
#11/#6 winner vs. #3
#12/#5 winner vs. #4

then…
#9/#8/#1 winner vs #12/#5/#4 winner
#11/#6/#3 winner vs #10/#7/#2 winner

and finally…
#11/#10/#7/#6/#3/#2 winner vs #12/#9/#8/#5/#4/#1 winner

I’d be happy to take your money…
