Baldwin and Iti

Our weakness is our point guard and center are very average players to say the least. There aren’t to many teams either could start for in Conf. USA.

And our heart and toughness is our weakness but that is something that can be corrected!!! We better do it fast!!!

I think if Iti and withers stay (which they both should, and will) I think we will be even better next year. I’m so sick of people talking about Eddie this and that, he hasnt had a great game in any of the last three that we lost. Whatever amount of defense we lose from Eddie leaving will be picked up in the fact that plavich won’t be on the court. Bennet from what i have heard and saw will be a point guard that could actually score if he needs to. How mitchell baldwin ever made D1 as a combo guard is beyond me. Iti has one way to go, as well as Drayton. Nance is solid. The key to next year is that Curtis has to play like a man all season long next year. I expect him to get more skilled over the summer, he doesnt need to get any stronger

Yeah, which is why we've been so good this year.

Forget about it. It’s rally time folks. Iti, Baldwin and ESPECIALLY EDDIE, needed. B)

Mitch hasn’t been the same since he got hurt, he was playing like the player we needed him to be until he got his 18th injury of the year in the St. Louis game.

Iti needs to give us 15 good minutes taking up space and altering shots.

I think Iti can accomplish 50% of your request…he can give us 15 minutes of taking up space!

Not a slam against the great season he had but if we're gonna make any noise in the dance Eddie needs to bring his "A" game....15 points, 8 boards and 4 steals in round 1, 2, 3 etc...

Many niner fans tried to turn Mitch into the piece that would change our season. I recall last year the constant calls to start Mitch over Demon and so on. Now I am pretty sure why Lutz didn’t. I love Mitch and I love his speed and quickness. However, he is decent and a good ball handler but not a creater for others.

Spin it however you want, those are outstanding numbers. He shot too much, judging from the boxscore.

If Eddie has 1 more basket, 1 more rebound and 2 more steals, Memphis would have still blown out Charlotte.

Mitch is getting it done, he had a bad game against USF, but he never got a chance to redeem himself.

Yes, Eddie had a bad game against UL, but Garcia did as well, they cancelled each other out. USF was just a debacle, no other way to describe it. Leemire played too many minutes, it likely cost us the game.

The Memphis game, though, I don’t see how Eddie had a bad game. If you’re going to lay blame on a player, at least have some numbers to back you up. The only thing he did to hurt us was shoot so much, but as I understand it, some other people on our team took some highly questionable shots.

It’s not all players people geez. The coaching staff effects the shot selection of the players.

if basden had the performance every game that he averaged over the last three he wouldnt make 3rd team CUSA, which is pretty much my point. People act like he carries this team with no respect to curtis. POY should be player of the WHOLE year, not player of the year in selective games. Luckily nobody else had a stellar year. and what i mean about mitch is the fact that the guy cant shoot, just CAN’T shoot. if you wanna put numbers up about eddie and talk about them sure,

MEMPHIS:
4-12 shooting, if he made one more basket, thats still a terrible night considering he only took one three. 5 of his 7 rebounds were offensive, were those misses off of his 4-12 shooting? only 2 defensive rebounds. and 3 turnovers.
