Press release coming tomorrow. Multiple players suspended.
From what has been stated the did to other players, they should be gone IMO. This isn’t something stupid that many kids do (pot or drinking), not the type of kids I want representing this university.
I’m sure Hibbs had no idea, but you know other coaches are going to point this out at every opportunity to recruits (esp their parents). Going to kill us on the recruiting trail.
I know this is the “normal reaction” but atleast one of the kids involved does not fit this description AT ALL and you will be shocked when you see who it is. I can only assume they had been drinking because this kid is definitely not “stupid”…I actually don’t think it will hurt us that much on the recruiting trail. I know of atleast one verbal that we have gotten since this “episode” began.

We will know more today. I’m tired of speculating and ready to be done with this.

2015 roster appears to have already been updated. You can easily compare to the 2014 roster and see who has been kicked off if you don’t want to wait for official announcement.

Just the first one at Charlotte. Don’t understand why anyone considers it a logical way to welcome someone to the team.
“Welcome to the team freshman! Its great to have you and we can’t wait to compete for another conference championship with you! Now stick this finger in your butt. Its for…um…team building”
I am really curious about the circumstances here that his played out. Was it “check your oil” when someone walked by or was it kid was held down by other teammates and finger inserted. Those details will tell color my perception. Both are over the line, but one can be taken as hazing in what was thought to be good fun, the other is sexual assualt. I feel dirty just typing this.

Hill, Mikal
Huffman, Adam
King, Patric
Lang, Brett
Roberts, Des
Schellhorn, Jeremy
Not saying all of these are involved. Just saying they are no longer on the roster.
Hate to see Lang, Hill, and Roberts on this list but good riddance to any and all that were a part of what was alleged yesterday.
Hopefully Daddio or Raley are ready behind the plate as we will be extremely limited there looking at the roster and losing Lang who caught nearly every game last season.

People are weird.
Never done it or had it happen to me, but I have witnessed these actions on some high school teams.
I have been waiting to respond to the allegations that have been put on this board involving the “hazing incident”. They told the school that they were not involved in any dog piles and team mates that were interviewed confirmed this. If I was a parent, I would do whatever I have to do, even if that involves getting a lawyer and suing to clear names. Kicked off the team for violation of team rules, yet the players were not given any info on what rules were broken. I feel this is far from over, for both parents and players
