Basketball on TV or Soccer in person?????

If the AD Off. would put the B-Ball game on the scoreboard, attendance would go up at the Soccer game. Just like attendance would have went up at the B-Ball DH if we had put the CCU FB game on the scoreboard, but we don’t like high attendance at this school.

I doubt attendance will be an issue for this game. Might get over 1500 out, maybe more if weather were warmer.

While I am not a soccer fan, It is not often we host NCAA games on campus in any sport.

Anyone tailgating?
Ive got Trinity with me, so opted out of the cold weather tailgating. If I had been kid free would prob opt for tailgating and soccer game. Any NCAA game is a big game.
I don’t blame you. Too cold for the little ones out there.

I am not a soccer fan but planned to go to this game. As posted above,
NCAA games are rare here.
The temperature has shifted me to the basketball game.
Yes, I’ve become a wus in my old age

OMG. Come on guys. That’s what they make alcohol for. It keeps you warm. Get out and support this soccer team. What time we tailgating?

Yes, this is brilliant. Let’s completely inconvenience the players and coaches by taking off the game clock for the game. I’m sure they will completely agree with this idea.

What if we just put the game in the screen part (The middle) of the scoreboard. Game clock, fouls, and score would remain on the side, but instead of the middle area basically having the TV view of the basketball game on the floor, we feed a signal from the football/soccer game?

I don’t think the scoreboard has live video capabilities, if I remember it would need a $50k+ chip to make that happen… would be cool to have space heaters on the concourse with flat screens spread around… hot cocoa will be at premium tonight!

I wonder if it is possible for us to do this. It makes a lot of sense.

This!

Froze my @ss off at the soccer game, but made it to Pics in time post game to see the final 5 minutes of the basketball game.

BTW, you still cannot pick up 730’s radio signal on campus after dark. What is IMG doing to fix this?!?!?!?

Luckily I watched the 1st half of hoops on my phone. Got in the car and turned the radio on after soccer and hear static and some mumbling.

Not to mention the fact that it’s an NCAA game… meaning it has to be ā€œneutralā€ in terms of the production.

Plus, I’m sorry… but if I’m an athlete and the school was putting another game on the jumbotron while I’m playing, I’d be pretty sour about it.

You got to Pics at the same time I did and I thought there was 10 minutes left in the game. Regardless, the basketball game made that cold weather soccer loss a little more bearable. I hate both games had to occur at the same time.
