You don’t think that Beasley and Lutz talk at all? You think it’s all one way with Delonte and Mike. Lutz is always on hand to watch Mike him self and Mike was seen on campus just last weekend. Im sure they have a great relationship.
He has stated that Delonte was a factor in choosing Charlotte and that he would have come here if Delonte was’nt here. Nothing’s changed in the way of playin time. Mike’s still gunna be the man here playing with some great players and some of his boys (Tatum and Harmon)
Beasley is a big boy and won’t just follow some assistant to frickin Kansas State
I just find it to much of a coinciedence that Huggins would hire a asst who has been @ Charlotte for two years to be his assistant @ a new program if Hill can’t produce Beasley. I am sorry part of the deal is Beasley combo with Hill. Think about it Huggins coached at Cincy along while you mean to tell me he didn’t want any of his other staff to come along with him. Its apparent that Hill has one thing that others don’t right now, a #2 recruit in two years.
Understand the shoe company side of this.
They establish relationships with players they want to wear their shoes, particularly those who they think have NBA potential. They put on camps, they give money to AAU teams in the form of shoes and apparel. They also sponser college programs. We’re a Nike school. Not a big one at that. I’m gonna go out on a two inch limb here and say KSU is an Adidas school. Put it together.
Nothin has changed accept that the main link to Beasley is gone (maybe) Beasley is here to play under Lutz and win in Charlotte
The Truth Revolution will not comment on this statement
I’m gonna go out on a two inch limb here and say that as of yesterday, after a large sum of money and KSU’s soul and integrity changed hands, KSU is an Adidas school. Put it together.
Why did Huggin hire a former Charlotte coach and player with limited experience?
Why? I’m sure it had absolutely nothing to do with the #2 ranked player in the country. Huggins simply assumed it would be logical for Washington, DC kids to choose Kansas State as their college of choice and Hill would help establish that connection. After all, it’s only a short car ride from D.C. to Kansas!
The weird thing is the KSU people say they are mostly Nike. Huggins is a former Nike Air Jordan guy BUT I can only assume that since Huggins is trying to pull Mayo, Walker and now Beasley that he is moving to Adidas/Reebok.
Would this play have taken place if Dalonte couldn’t assure Huggins Beasley would follow? Ask yourselves this and enjoy the warm up in the weather we’re about to get after it take 1 picosecond to answer the question.

He didnt have to hire anyone (that we know of) to do it, but he basicly stole Kareem Johnson from Lutz in the 11th hour.
