Even from a media POV, losing BC wasn't a big deal since no one in Boston has ever really cared about BC, even before leaving the BE. Well maybe for one moment when Flutie shook down Miami.

I think I posted this before, but I almost got into a fight with some Clemson dudes in a Hooters in Anderson SC a couple of years ago when I pointed out that the ACC was basically Duke, UNC-Ch and the MAC.
They took further offense when I pointed out that the beginning of this was when the ACC decided to become a “Football Conference” and it had begun to suck in football as well.
It was kinda funny actually.
