Bojangles’ Junior 49ers Club Basketball Clinic - Sat May 1st

The Charlotte 49ers Men’s Basketball team will host the Bojangles’ Junior 49er Club Basketball Clinic on Saturday May 1, 2010 in the Charles Hayward Memorial Practice Gym. Participants must be in Kindergarden through 6th grade. Check -in will begin at 8:30am, followed by stretching with OrthoCarolina at 9:00am. All participant’s must check-in at registration. The clinic will last approximately 1-1.5 hours and conclude with a Coaches Wrap and autograph session. The clinic is FREE for all paritcipants. Should any changes be made to the event, all information will be communicated to parents via email. Registration Deadline is Monday, April 26th. Clinic went great. We had to leave early but all players except Braswell were there. He was at his sister’s graduation apparently.

Got to meet and talk with Coach Major for several minutes. Great guy. Very engaging. We talked about being in ACC country and general stuff. He said he got a good taste of it at the UNC-CH baseball game the other night. Said he has a lot of respect for Coach Lutz and all that he did here citing 12 years is unheard of nowadays. He was very excited to get in fullswing with everything.

Rob Perron ran the clinic and Major addressed the kids before they got started. The assistants were not there during the clinic.
