Briscoe signs with NATIONAL POWER MSU

Then we could change our colors to purple and gold and call ourselves the pirates.

ECU is afraid/won’t play top 25 NAIA D1 teams. Last time they did 12-29-08 they got beat at home by (NAIA) Lee University 77-75. Major won’t either. The top of the NAIA D1 are very good and talented basketball teams. Much better/just as good as 150-340 D1 (NCAA) caliber teams.

You’re right, Major won’t either because we play D1 competition.

Not sure I would call Kennesaw St, Radford, Texas State, competition even though they have D1 status. Top level D1 NAIA schools would beat them just as badly as we do.

FWIW Major could always schedule a top 5 NAIA or top 5 DII as an exhibition which wouldn’t count against us and would be a much better measure as to what type of team we have than beating up on low level teams like Queens, Belmont Abbey ect.

Clayton, I didn’t say play the NAIA or D2 teams, I said have a DH with them. That’s two separate games, where they play & then we play.

If NAIA schools want to play DI schools, they should join the NCAA. It’s pretty simple.

From the sound of Deuce’s twitter, he’s quit basketball. This was his reply to someone asking if he’s still hooping - ”naw fuck that hoop shit bruh back in bmore doing me shorty…"

Maybe Deuce is Size King with certain other measurements.

This tweet is nowhere near the truth. Briscoe is flourishing in a first class top NAIA power program that would rival talent wise and compete/beat many teams at the D1 level including ours.

Briscoe’s camp is being courted by numerous professional agents and may likely sign with the representative of UPIKE’s former 2010-11 5’11 PG Vance Cooksey who is presently on the Chicago Bulls roster.

Briscoe plays 19 home games in UPIKES Eastern KY Expo Arena 8000+ seat venue one of the finest in all of mid major college basketball.

It seems that Briscoe like Lutz, Mox, Spears, Gohkan, Jones, and others who have prematurely left this program during the MAJOR SIZE KING era … ARE DOING QUITE WELL 8)

Deuce has absolutely no chance of playing in the NBA. Zero. Listed 5’10, about 5’7 5’8. No strength. No chance.

Vance Cooksey Upike 2011 PG same size as Deuce is on the present CHICAGO BULLS roster with a great chance to make the team. (see link)

You can’t skew facts. Cooksey is listed at 6’0 meaning he is more 5’10

Briscoe is listed 5’10 meaning he is more 5’8.

Nice try…as always

Fact is listings are often inaccurate. But they are more reliable then you ridiculously shaving 2 inches off of every players listed height. So in that case P.H. listed at 6’3 is 6’1 right :stuck_out_tongue: your logic is hilarious. :))

I’m glad if Briscoe is still in school. Going back to Baltimore to just “do him” would be unwise.

[left]Season Outlook 2012-13
The UPIKE Bears, one season removed from winning the 2011 NAIA National Championship, The 2012-2013 Bears will feature an impressive group of newcomers, including five NCAA Division I transfers and two returning starters.

The Bears backcourt is poised to be one of the best in the nation. The additions of transfers Jamar Briscoe (5’10, Sr., Charlotte), Elisha Justice (5’11, Jr., Louisville), and Chris Johnson (5’10, Sr., St. Francis), along with returner Josh Whitaker (6’0 Jr.) give Pikeville and Head Coach Kelly Wells several options at the guard position.

UPIKE will have a familiar face on the wing in returning two-time NAIA All America selection Trevor Setty. A versatile 6’9 forward, Setty will lead a group of forwards that will rely heavily on newcomers Darnell Tubbs (6’2 Jr.), Brandon Greene (6’6 Jr.), and Cody Malicoat (6’5 Fr.)

The Bears inside game will also be in good hands. Transfers Terrance Saintil (6’9 Sr.) and Trevon Flores (6’11 Jr.) will look to help returning post Chris Watson (6’8 Sr.) with the workload in the paint.

Maybe Deuce could be the next Muggsy.
And who names themselve, Troll Fool?

I imagine a mod changed his name. Pretty lame way to attack someone by them.

Don’t criticize our mods. You have a poor attitude. First you criticize our coach and now you criticize our mods. What kind of Niner fan are you anyway? You need to get with the program like the thousands of other Niner fans on this board.
