Buffalo Wild Wings??
Reading on this forum, sometimes, makes me feel old. I remember going to Annabelles at Eastland mall on Wednesday’s for 10 cent wings.
If you even remember feeling safe enough to go to Eastland Mall itself, you should feel old.

Thanks.

I remember very well when it was safe and people WANTED to go to Eastland Mall.

Of course, I also remember eating at the restaurant on Highway 49 before its name was changed to the Sandwich Construction Company…and whatever names it been since then.

Carolina Ribs and Wings was bought by Po’s Pub which was subsequently shut down for multiple violations of serving alcohol to minors.

Whatever happened to Carolina Wing and Rib House across from campus on 49?? That place was AWESOME (Deez you remember) and cheap. Always had a decent crowd in there when I went.

They never got any business. It turned into something else afterwards, and then just closed down for good. Really, no one went there except for their dollar beer and 25 cent wing night or whatever it was.

that and RJ gators closed... the only bars on University Cty. Boulevard that were basically "a long walk" from campus couldn't make it...

The problem with bars within ‘walkin’ distance is that there not close enough to safely drive. So people opt to get into cars, but then if your getting into a car, you might as well make the drive a lil further up to somewhere else.

I loved RJ Gators pint night. We had a regular NNN crew out there!

QFT Sweet memories…

Part of Gators’ problem is I drank a lot there before I turned 21; they were notorious for not checking ID. They got in trouble for it once or twice my first two years of college.

Yeah, I drank up there alot before I was 21 too. I guess after you went enough, all of the bartenders just assumed you were over 21. Good Times

I had many a fun time at Gators, too bad it is closed

I don’t get out to the U area other than to go to soccer and basketball games. Saw Gus’ 49er the other day. That was the only restaurant in the area back in the day. What’s it like? Same as the other recent bars that have been there?

What is MAd Dog’s? My son got a Gift certificate from Norm at the soccer game the other night. They are a soccer sponsor.

I think it’s Bad Dog’s Burgers.

They sponsored the lax team last year. Their food is pretty good.

Bad Dogs has a lot of different types of burgers. They’re not bad, and have a decent price, but there are better burgers in town.

Bad Dogs is good. My wife and I go there pretty often. Usually good coupons floating around and they support several sports. Plus, $1.50 Yuengling on tap always! I recommend the Black and Blue Burger and sweet potato fries.

They used to have 80 cent beers. Do they still do that?
