With about 5 minutes left in the game, we are 3-18 from 3pt range (why do we shoot a shot we can’t hit?), Ian hasn’t blown jack squat and is 0-6 from the floor…DiJuan has 1 f’n assist. Oh yeah…Who was it that called Coley a rebounding machine?? DiJuan has doubled Coley’s rebounding effort at 6-3. DIJUAN!?
Rebounding is effort. Just look at the box score - DiJuan is the ONLY player that gives a sh!t. At 5’6" he’s our leading rebounder. Impressive and sad at the same time!!
I don’t care what anyone says…I’m not watching the game but those numbers (again) reflect a team that has quit on their coach or a coach and team that have both quit.
We continue to not even be competitive. We are making a habit out of being embarrassed. Forget the fact that we are 6-12…look at how embarrassing the losses are.
I mean, to be honest, it can’t really get any better. Fordham won tonight. We very well may not even go to the A10 tourny. Maybe it’s wrong, but I’d almost just rather us lose the rest of the season to push more blame/pressure onto Lutz. I can’t blame it totally on him though, our players are garbage as well, regardless to how much “heart” they have.
The only two people on our team that are decent are Mack and Harris. Phil has his moments. The rest of the current team is absolute garbage.
I would like our p!ss poor excuse of a coach to show some balls and start getting upset. He shows no emotion in the post game shows and simply says “we’re struggling to score the basketball.”

At least admit the disappointment…call out our guys on effort…pride…SOMETHING.
Anything other than to just casually watch another embarrassment and calmly state…if we shot better it would be different.

Next year will be the best year in Charlotte history, at least in most of our lifetimes. Chris (pronounced STEFFan) Braswell, Shamarr (pronounced STEFFan)Bowden, K.J. (pronounced STEFFan) Sherrill, and Shamari (pronounced STEFFan) Spears will dominate college like Rod White and we will come within a couple of games of getting a national championship.
Year after next will be a huge challenge, as the Fab Four will depart for the NBA. Lutz will leave to ressurect the FAU program, now depleted by the graduation of all of Daughterys recruits, and take next years steller recruiting class of 3 JUCOs and two transfers with him.
That is why we should appreciate and support the underclassmen we have now. The players who are here should see that many of us are glad they came here and want them to stay for the long haul. If not things may get worse, not better.
The fact that a lot of us, including myself, didn’t even blink after we lost last night really says it all. Unless we go winless ths rest of the way, and I think well win a few others 3-4, it won’t get much worse.

Haha I didn’t watch it, but I kept track of the ticker at the bottom of ESPN. I saw only 17 points, 3 minutes into the 2nd half and just laughed.
I didn’t have to watch it to know what happened. It’s the same thing every game. Pass around the perimeter… Jack a 3 with someone in your face! Two passes around the perimeter… Launch a 3! Maybe get an offensive rebound and then throw it out of bounds.
The players don’t box out which is why we can’t get rebounds. It’s unbelievable how inept this team is at the basic fundamentals. At least 6 times a game you can count on one of our big men to come running in at full speed and jump over someones back, knocking them over. I don’t know how we don’t get called.
I want to get in the huddle during a timeout and hear what Lutz says. Then I want to interrupt and be like, “Are you out of your f*cking mind? What the hell is wrong with you? What makes you think it’s going to work THIS time?”
