I guess you meant South Carolina?
I guess you meant South Carolina?
What other Carolina is there?
I guess you meant South Carolina?
no, it’s correct, Carolina
Thread is right
They are the only team in America to have the sole word on their jersey.
.
Garbage move by Spurerior & Co., but in the end it’s his job on the line and the coaches are the ones who get the axe, not the players.
I guess you meant South Carolina?Of course. The school you may be thinking of prefers to use 3 initials as their name.
Spurrier is a joke
Spurrier isn’t the only coach to do this… It is a far too common practice
Shouldn’t the athlete be recruited by whomever he wants if he is good enough to garner such recruitment? Seems to put the athlete at a disadvantage to ban a school from campus.
Over40!!! You know better than to put anything about any college team called Carolina in the 49er Sports Forum! Geez!
.
When you find out that the kid is not going to work out acadmically then you have to cut ties. Schools started backing off of this kid long ago because of known academic problems.

Uhhhhh. Not her to debate this because I don’t like either one of them but I can tell you for fact that outside of the state of South Carolina, when people here Carolina athletics they think of UNC, Period. South Carolina is an after thought throughout America.
outside of the state of South Carolina, when people here Carolina athletics they think of UNCNot in the SEC during football season. And not among Clemson fans and not among USC fans living in the Charlotte Metro Area that complain about Observer favortism almost as much as we do.
And you mentioned “UNC”… which one are you talking about?
I guess you meant South Carolina?USC was "Carolina" first.
USC was "Carolina" first.
Explain, since what I know is UNC was the first publicly funded University.

USC marketed themselves as “Carolina” before UNC.

False. Two of my best friends are grads of LSU and Florida and their opinions of South Carolina is and I quote “the black eye of the SEC”
As for Clemson, I did say outside of the state of SC.
As for favortism from the observer, what does South Carolina fans expect. It’s an NC based paper. Charlotte has something to complain about USC doesn’t. If they want coverage they should read the Rock Hill Herald or something.
As I said before, nationally Carolina is North Carolina because South Carolina just isn’t very relevant outside of their state.
As for favortism from the observer, what does South Carolina fans expect.I hope you don't really want me to answer that one.
USC marketed themselves as "Carolina" before UNC.
Please read the my above post .
Not debating what South Carolina calls themselves I’m just telling you what the perception of the two schools nationally is and which school people outside of SC thinks Carolina is. As we all know perception is reality.
