It certainly helped, but not against the Panthers offense. Its amazing what Cam did today, but it was a great Panthers team showing against a good defense and a still capable offense. Remember, both teams were without a starting QB.
I expect Cam to start going forward. I thought he was washed up by 2019, but I believe or at least hope that he needed all this time away to get healthy, to mature and for the Panthers to put a better team on the field with him. Time will tell if he is accurate enough, but I don’t question his leadership, toughness or running ability. Cam is exactly what CMac and the offensive line needed
Not that he lost a fumble, it’s that he wouldn’t even try to recover it in the biggest game of his life. Ask the Patriots if he was a good leader in the locker room.
That is/was the biggest overblown “issue” ever…watch the replay…the ball was essentially at his feet . Can you “dive” straight down with other bodies flying in? You can’t…you can only try to reach down, but that is somewhat awkward and difficult to do quickly.

Washington just lost their best defender to a torn ACL. Then Cam and his defense faces the Dolphins. Then a bye. Got tickets vs Atl at home. 8-5 is a real possibility before a blizzard in Buffalo
Cam was freaking awesome for 10 days off the couch. The fire in his a arm is back. That defense didn’t look elite, but at least they didn’t look Canadian like the Steelers defense
