Johnson is an Asheville guy, went to AC Reynolds.
Not sure he ever played in an actual game for the Heels since he was a walk on. No stats so probably didn’t. Definitely a hot name this cycle.
Tepper is going to screw this up, Johnson is a high risk high reward guy, he has never coached an NFL game, and everyone is acting like the 1 game over 500 lions are so awesome, if we didn’t have the Rhule debacle over the last 3 years I’d be more ok with someone like Johnson but this time we need to hire the sure thing in Wilks and see how far he can go.
Wilks could’ve got this team to the NFC Championship game and he still wouldn’t have gotten the job. David Tepper thinks people in this region are stupid and don’t know good football. Tepper will do things his way to placate his ego so he can rub it in everyone’s face when he’s right…well…the data says we’ll never have to worry about that because he’s a bottom tier owner. Charlotte arguably has the 2 worst owners in all of sports in Tepper/MJ.
