Cavs waive Basden

Cavaliers waive G Basden
CLEVELAND (AP) - The Cavaliers waived guard Eddie Basden on Wednesday, clearing space in their crowded backcourt.
Cleveland acquired Basden in an August trade with Chicago for center Martynas Andriuskevicius. Basden played 19 games for the Bulls last season, averaging 2.1 points and 1.5 rebounds.
The Cavaliers have 18 players on their training camp roster, including seven guards and three swingmen.

A blessing in disguise.

Not playing in the NBA?

Miami Heat.

Those of you who pledged allegiance to the Cavs must be devestated. I wonder if you will become as big a fan of whatever team he plays for next, NBA or not.

We should apply this thinking to all Niners… I graduated in 1996 and I now work at Wachovia. Everyone should move their bank accounts to Wachovia to help support me! LOL

If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it too many times: death to the NotBasketballAssociation. .

Lets see…NLCS, ALCS, Panthers are 2 days away from an important game.

Just a hunch, but watch this Basden story get headlines on Thursday.

I might be wrong, but I think the fine folks at the Observer might even postpone the “What Roy Williams eats during the offseason” retrospective.

Does that mean he’ll also get headlines when he signs with another team?

Sure…but not in the Sports page. Check the “Neighbors of University City” for THAT story.

Thanks to charlotte49ers.com, I noticed that the NY Daily News spoke with Loren Hibbs recently about a former player of his on the Mets. Great story & the kind of publicity that you WON’T find in the Charlotte Observer.

Now that I think about it, I wonder if anyone in the Observer sports department knows what Loren’s connection is with 49ers athletics.

That’s what happens when you’re the last 2 on the bench…

oh well…good luck to him…

Headlines!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Couldn't care less.... You could NOT care less. Sorry pet peave.

Peeve. Sorry, my pet peeve.

Does anyone have any news on Rodney White? He is not with the Spanish league team that he played for last year. I have not seen where he is at a NBA training camp.

Has he thrown in the towel?

Now, that’s funny.

I think not. I work at RBC Centura. The bank that actually sponsors this program. Give me your accounts.
