White outlined but that’s fairly needed on dark glass. Kind of wished they had them in white or the logo I bought separately was white outline to match.

Some new branded items at the Hayes. The LF screen has been updated and the retired numbers along the 3B line have been updated. New CLT logo on the scoreboard. We’re stuck with the old logo on the turf for at least this season.
I hate the turf so much.

I love the new branding, but I wish we would had waited until we could change everything on the fields, courts, jerseys, etc., or would had found a way to pay to have it done. We are a DI school that just can’t quit acting like a DIII. Damn the concept of patch work.

FWIW Mike said this was the same approach they used at Florida during a rebrand. Prioritizing where they spent the money and updating other parts as it was due.
I guess I will have to take him at his word since I don’t follow UoF. I get that you do with what you have, I just don’t like the patch work approach unless the purpose is to confuse. It is probably OK for a very well establish program in Florida, but for us, our success glide path is much tighter.
I look at it this way if a program flush with cash doesn’t do it all at once then its a big ask for us to. It was a BIG investment for us to get all new unis for all teams in one year.

Don’t we normally get new unis for each team every year? I thought only HS reused the jerseys.
As to UF’s rebrand, I’m not exactly sure what he’s referencing, but their changes have to have been incremental, the Gator logo is basically the same as it’s been as long as I can remember. If he means a slightly different ‘F’ that’s a big difference from completely redesigning your primary logos so that they look nothing alike. I also feel like haphazardly changing half the logos at once feels very small time.
I’d much rather have grass and dirt too, but having turf is much more functional and cost efficient for us.
We had way too many missed games and practices due to rain/snow before adding the turf infield. Lots of practice time wasted on players pulling tarp and doing other maintenance to the field. I think when it is re-done, it will likely be the entire field as turf and not just the infield. Many others have switched over to turf over the years.
