Really dating myself since I’m old enough to remember when Huntersville had just one traffic light! Anyway, reminded that the site of this proposed hotel on NC 73 is now within the Cornelius sphere of influence. As is usually the case in North Mecklenburg, infrastructure - especially roads and their capacity - will lag behind development.

If I were in charge, every developer would have to fully fund all infrastructure before they could even break ground on a project. So sick of them getting away with not doing it.
