I will because we have brooom closet full of āstudsā
I doubt he takes a modest salary
Itās not speculation
Either B&N is going to have to come on board or we will need a new supplier for Biff Shirts
I just saw on landing page itās Chris Reynolds Birthday today, Happy 30th Chris
Just kidding, what you have done to this team and university canāt ever be repaid. Best of luck to what every you do in the future. You are a living breathing version of life doesnāt choose your way, you do.
I want a sleeveless shirt with a picture of biff wearing a sleeveless shirt
When is Biff going to be officially introduced and speak to the public
Next week sometime
He fixed the Michigan offense? So was he the OC or play caller ? Can we get some confirmation on this.
Also the Harbough(s) and their Dad have lots of football legacyā¦ā¦
So he came in from a Baltimore HS football program and turned the Michigan Offense around? Then went back to HS?ā¦. Not a North Ga or Texas Hs offense but a program in Baltimoreā¦.do we have a list of QBās he developed/mentored, that seems key here to success.
My wife on Biff Poggi hire:
āSomething interesting is going to happenā
Apologies if this has already been posted - Esquire piece from 2 years ago:
Press meeting and intro will be on Monday
I am curious, did we pursue him or did he pursue us, and one thing that the ECU guy commented on which I am concerned about too is that he was able to corral and amass talent from regional areas while other schools stayed local, and he dominated with overwhelming physical talent at the high school level, I think that he will be able to connect with players personally and land higher level recruits, especially ones from disadvantaged and marginalized backgrounds, but he will not have overwhelming talent here, so the question is can he win when the talent levels are on similar levels
Yeah thatās my biggest concern. Most of his coaching success came with teams that were far more talented than their opponents. Makes it hard to know if he can coach or just recruit the best players. We will never be able to out recruit the competition so he really needs to put together a top notch staff. Iām on board with the hire while also being a little bummed/embarrassed that we have to go so far outside the box for our football hires. Why canāt we just be normal. I wish the start of the season wasnāt 9 months away. Iām anxious to see how this goes.
We donāt have to go outside the box, it is a choice.
I agree with that. This was completely Hillās decision to go this direction.i hope he made the right decision.
Look at Memphis, part of their MO in basketball is to out recruit the rest of the AAC. Iām not saying we will do that in football, but out recruiting the AAC is different than out recruiting the SEC.
That just seems impossible when we are currently close to last in the country in recruiting rankings. If Biff can make that kind of a turnaround he deserves a statue. I think itās more realistic for us to get a really good staff who can do more with less in the beginning & maybe after some sustained success we will be able to recruit near the top of the AAC. But if he can come in & do it right away I would be good with that too. Whatever we do I hope we have a staff that can develop the players we have & get the most out of their potential. That just hasnāt happened over the last 4 years.
I am also concerned that he always had more talent. I was actually hoping we would go after Lembo but I am intrigued the more learn about Poggi.
