Coach Biff has created excitement. This is an opportunity to build on his momentum. Amazing after the last few disappointing years.
Great coach, great staff, great recruiting, upgraded conference, great city, great university.
It’s time to bring in new fans, pull back in some old and disengaged ones.
The next few months and years could be tremendous for our program IF we capitalize.
Stadium expansion reinforces our expectation for future success and will pull in more interest from our community.

I agree 100 percent. Hill, the Chancellor, donors , and CLT media are all watching how this team grows. They are watching the recruiting, and they will be watching the first few games to see how competitive we are. And the group above along with Biff and his coaching staff will be watch ing the fan base to see how we respond.
It is absolutely imperative that the spring game and every game next year be a sellout. The team being competitive and the fan base filling the stadium are all integral parts in building the confidence necessary for expansion to move forward ASAP.
It is time to begin talking with students that are luke warm or non-believers. It is also time to begin communicating with any alumni that have become passive and not following the program due to performance on the field and court.
I know there are plenty of alumni that have become disinterested over the years, and it is a must that they be brought back into the program. A crowd of 5000 fior the spring game would be a huge demotivator for the players and coaches and everyone associated with the program.
Also, the local sports media would be very critical of the fan base and demote this new movement to the same ol’ UNC Charlotte. The time to begin talking with those on the fence is now - not 2 days before the spring game.

I sure hope this guy can coach. His confidence - laid back, but sure of himself - is appealing in a much different way than Healy who was much more outgoing and high energy. I can’t wait to see him on the sidelines and have not been this excited for football since S1.

Yeah I am trying to stop myself from getting too excited until we see him on a gameday.
I love coaches with swagger and a chip on their shoulder - that talk shit and brash. I think it fits us as a school with who we are. I loved Will schtick, but it doesn’t work if you cant back it up. I love Biff’s too, but he has to back it up or talking about CFP just looks stupid.

The comments about a near 100% success rate when they get kids on campus, and the comment about how four and five star recruits are calling us have me so excited.

Yeah I am sure his quotes will be talked about a lot next season on tv broadcasts. I love everything he’s said and done so far. With that said, we need the results to back it up.

Hope some of you won’t be jumping off a cliff when we lose some games next season. I’m optimistic about the direction of the program under Biff but realistically we will be lucky to make a bowl game next season.

Really impossible to say. We basically have an entirely new team. We could suck, be the same, be much improved, or be a top 25 program (obviously unlikely). Not sure many, if any, programs have ever had this much roster change in a single offseason. The portal, instant eligibility, and removal of the cap on number of signees has completely changed the game.
