clt says Biff isnāt going to be here in 5 years as HC, could see him moving into an admin/recruiting type role
As long as itās not here, that would be a fine career move.
A couple of notes.
Biff is here to move the program to the next level financially.
Biff like Tepper is not in it for Charlotte but for the money and respect. Not going to get it like that
Maybe Steve Wilks is getting ready to take over
As coach which is a win win for for the city and university.
He hasnāt worn that outfit of cutoff sleeves all year. Watch a game
Itās the job of the football coach to coach football. Itās the ADās job to go out and get the money. The latter is main reason Pitt just fired the 2023 national AD of the year.
If its the middle of the 3Q and an FCS team with 20 + fewer scholarships is up 17 and not even punted yet the fans can do what they want. Its their money.
Biff reminds me of the people that fall into money or hit it big and then get insulated from the real world for too long. The finance game back 30 years ago was a hard one to lose at with big backing. Just because you catch one big wave does not make you a great surfer no matter what your ego says.
What bothers me most about Biff is his lack of willingness to take accountability. It is a terrible character trait and a really poor trait as a leader. He did it last year with players and coaches. Throw everyone under the bus when he needs to look in the mirror.
He also has not done us any favors with the Charlotte movers and shakers. To get Johnny Harris and the like onboard it takes humility not being an asshole.
FCS has 65 scholarships i think
This!!!
THIS X 1000000000000000!!
Last night was a cutoff sweatshirt or something. Hanging his headset piece from the neck is not a good look either. He doesnāt have to be a carbon copy of every other coach but stop acting like youāre too cool for school. I said the same when Healy was running up and down the sidelines like a 12 year old cheerleader. Like I said, win and all is forgiven.
I just watched the post game and he was not going to bench Purdie because it would crush his confidence. Really? The guy put the ball on the ground like 4-5 times, threw a terrible pick. Yes, heās got more physical talent than Ivey, but all you needed was someone to manage that game. Ivey should have gotten the nod, because Purdie, mentally, was not ready to start. Poor coaching.
Also, he stood on a chair at halftime with wheels? Trying to get hurt to avoid embarrassment? If you win, itās big, lovable dope. But when you lose itās just big dope. Mike Hill has to see through some of this nonsense.

Lol
Hoping having his āmentorā (Harbough) on campus this week will help. Hopefully things will be pointed out and advice will be taken. That and the presence of the ever-professional Wilkes.
I just wanted to bump this so everyone could see how the fanbase felt the day we hired him. It was not good.
It wasnāt hindsight. We knew.
It was a controversial hire. Thereās no doubt about that.
This is the most accurate take of the bunch.
lol yup NinerGreene wins this thread.
