Wonder if any of our games will be on here since CUSA has a deal with FOX?

Clear channel owned/run. Fox sports affiliate. Carried on a 99.7 Fox subchannel and iHeartradio as well as the main broadcast. Low signal strength (forFM), but should be listenable from Charlotte to Rock Hill.

They say the will be up and running in 2 weeks. Mostly national content.

Will be worth keeping an eye on. Getting our games on FM has long been a goal, at least for our fan base.

I forget how long our deal with WFNZ is?

If this FM station gets traction it may cause CBS Radio to find an FM station to simulcast WFNZ programming to compete. The new station might improve our current situation.

We’re stuck with FNZ for three years. If they don’t have a FM band by then we need to be on this new FM sports station. Problem is someone will get in before us.

WFNZ deal

I am more concerned about a growing network of radio stations that carry Charlotte 49ers football and basketball. Sure would like to know what our future plans are for that growth.

I was excited about this news when it first came out, but then I looked at their coverage map, and it doesn’t include the University area.

clt says this is a moot point. Streaming is the way to go.
