CHN: RPI Boost of the Week: Charlotte

Charlotte; RPI No. 228 (Up 96 spots from 324 last week): The Niners finally snapped their losing streak and, along with boosting team morale, the win over Southern Illinois in Carbondale boosted their RPI… in grand fashion.

That is like being named skinny kid at fat camp…

my cholesterol dropped from 340 to 228! YES! Oh wait.

We also jumped from 13th to 10th in the power rankings. Yippee.

Sad for the other 3 teams.

EDIT: CHN actually referenced CCT and did not include team summaries. The original article is here: http://collegechalktalk.com/

And how on earth did winless UMass get the Player of the Week & Game of the Week honors?

I will say this, if all the close losses make the team tougher and we learn how to win, this could be a dangerous team in March.

But that is a lot of ifs.

Do all teams get invited to A10 tournament ?

2 teams get left out.

That had already been posted in this thread as CHN just did a cut-and-past from the CCT website. Hmmm…

A 96 point jump has to be a record or close to it!
PS We’re undefeated in December!
RPI FALL OF THE WEEK: Richmond; RPI No. 172 (Down 74 spots from 98 last week): The Spiders had a 1-1 week, but their win was against a weak Delaware State team (RPI No. 199), and their loss to an even lower ranked (RPI No. 254) Old Dominion squad.
I found this to be pretty ironic considering we raised our RPI which was low in part due to our loss to ODU.
