Classic Cartoons

o well didn’t work

There was also Shirt Tales, wasn’t there one called the Centurions? Sonic the Hedgehog had 2. Heckle and Jeckel…oooo…ooooo, I’m so surprised no one has mentioned Danger Mouse yet. Inspector Gadget rocked. Not a cartoon, but You Can’t Do That On Television rocked.

The classics like Tom & Jerry, Looney Tunes, Woody, Mighty Mouse are a given. We all loved Thundercats (you know you liked Cheetra), He Man, and Transformers. But some of the ones I liked not on the list so far:
In no particular order.
Danger Mouse
Count Duckula
The Muppet Babies
Dennis The Menace
The Littles
Ducktales
Camp Candy
Bigfoot and the Muscle machines
and Captain Caveman to name a few.

And I know a lot of you were too lazy to change the channel in the mornings and sat through an episode or two of Jem.

Ahh where to start… Loved Speed Racer, Super Friends, Star Blazers(Best theme song), Hong Kong Phooey, Underdog. I also like the after school cartoon that rotated episodes of Spiderman, Hulk, Thor and Ironman. Favorite show now is
X Men.

How about Heathcliff and Garfield and Friends.

Those were both classics IMO.

Inspector Gadget? Anybody?

Desslok! Desslok! Desslok!

I also liked Æon Flux on MTV’s Liquid Television.

Jem & the Holograms. They were all HOT, & so was the enemy band.
She-Ra was HOT.
From GI Joe, Lady J, Cover Girl, & Scarlett were HOT. From Cobra, the Baroness & Zirana were HOT.
The girl on He-Man was HOT.
Jessica Rabbit & Holli Would were HOT.

My Step-Sister watched Strawberry Shortcake & Friends, & My Little Pony. Ugh!

Inspector Gadget- SOLID

Penny did all the detective work but never got her due credit. That was a good cartoon.

I didn't realize the show was on for that long. It was an awesome show.

Does anyone else remember Simon and the wonderful world of make believe? Well Hello my name is Simon, and I likes to do drawrings. (In your best British accent). The cartoon is not an all timer, but it will always be remembered after the SNL skit with Mike Myers as Simon.

They made that into a cartoon? Hmm. How about TV Funhouse? Also, they should possibly have made a cartoon about the hyper hypo kid with the harness that Mike Myers played.

How about the new Saturday afternoon cartoon this past year, Calipari Whines?

I haven’t seen Calipari Whines. I understood that it wasn’t on outside the Memphis market.

Ren and Stimpy is pure genius.
