From the article its clear that if we had someone proactive on this from the inside we could have already had someone like Larry Coker or even have gotten Larry Coker himself.

The fact that they are still looking for office space for coaches is intriguing. We need $20 million for lockers/facilities/offices. Well at least on the office front if we canā€™t find existing space we surely could rent it at a nearby facility. How many offices are sitting empty in University City? Isnā€™t the office building across from the Credit Union on 49 empty? As for training facilities, thereā€™s a closed gym on 29 across from the Bojangles.

There are ways to get this going. I donā€™t like that the U is not thinking ā€œout of the boxā€ on Football.

At this moment, the 2 programs seem as different as day and night. Hopefully, this will changeā€¦ but Iā€™m afraid the change may have to come from the ā€œoutsideā€.

clt thinks we could sell more fslā€™s if we would do this:

  1. no more negative comments from anyone involved with the efforts ( chp, this means you)
  2. get actual seat locations in place for the renovations of belk field and get those to the fsl buyers, so people like clt can actually tell folks where their seats are.
  3. leak potential head coach names to someone, even the chapel hill observer

Unless your a diehardā€¦the average person wants something tangible before putting money down. At this point, I can definitely see why they have sold only 1800.
