Clt’s week 2 chat page. Black out game for Charlotte!

A shitload of winning games created everything app is today. Winning is the be all, cure all for sports and “success”, period.

Maybe we should win an FBS game at home before we even open our mouths. They won as many bowl games as have home games the past 2 years.
I will forever talk smack to the Crapp State fans, you should go back and look at read of the threads on AGS. If they they don’t get your blood boiling then you probably aren’t a true Niner.
This, this and THIS!!!
I am not suggesting that you not talk crap or get pissed, but I must say I do not particularly blame them. They get it. Maybe more than our fans. Charlotte is a big threat to them and the only thing they care about–football. We are not there yet, but if you went through the exercise of what would Charlotte need to eclipse them (timely metaphor!) the three things we are missing are more fans, more seats to put them in, and the time to make those happen. I think it is inevitable. I hope our game in 2018 shows that.
Missing a one BIG thing they have that we don’t - and AD that knows how to address those things.
Charlie Cobb was the AD during their championship years and I absolutely would not trade Judy for him.
They have managed to build a solid football program with a smaller alumni base, smaller community and without the corporate community we have. If you want us to go anywhere significant it has to be without Judy and company. We have the same issues today we had a decade ago. We have 27 years worth of proof. We have squandered what Jeff Mullins did, we have squandered what CUSA gave us, we have squandered the excitement of football, we have squandered an unbelievable explosion of campus, alumni and students.

At this point I would trade Judy for a piece of coal from the Grinch’s sack.
You may be right about all of this, but implying that App had an AD that would have made us a better program is without basis. Jerry Moore made App champions and Charlie Cobb was along for the ride. Look at everything else about their athletic program to see proof that he led App to very few accomplishments in the same period.

15 years ago, App was in the Southern Conference and we were in CUSA-1. I don’t know about you, but looking at where each school is today, I think they have done better than us when it comes to moving up in the world.

clt says 15 years ago, we didn’t have football. Apples and oranges my friend.

Correct my friend, but 15 years ago is when we should have announced intentions for football. That was 2 years after the Big East commissioner told us we needed football.

Maybe we should win an FBS game at home before we even open our mouths. They won as many bowl games as have home games the past 2 years.
clt agrees, pal, we should have listened to him.

Will this be y’all’s biggest home game in program history up to this point?

clt says please use proper grammar on this chat page.

And no, it will not. This game is a preseason type feel for us.

What has been the hardest ticket to get so far for a Niners home game? I think this one will top it tbh.

clt mocks you. The inaugural game v Campbell was impossible to get into.

Sadly, many App fans are just stupid enough to believe bullshit like this.

clt almost fell out of the zep. This is a organization that has pivoted away from print, and you are citing this. Wow appy.

clt is concerned about the appy fans coming down the mountain. we need to welcome them and help them adjust to civilization.

hopefully no appys will confuse the light rail to the tweetsie RR.
