We beat them 11-3 at the Hayes in 2022 & beat them in Conway 7-3 in 2023 when they were ranked #7.

Have to really admire the Coastal Carolina athletic department and their short history.
Are they going for their 3rd National championship? Have had one in baseball and Golf? Also has a had a really good run in Football.
They seem to be able to excel given less resources than many in the Carolina’s quite impressive!

They’ve made a consistent investment in baseball over the years and it has truly paid off. They built a ballpark equivalent to some minor league facilities and have built a very strong fan base who fills it. They average 3,000 in attendance, which is roughly top 30 in the country. Certainly lots of eye balls on their University at the moment.
Might want to ask this question again after tonight’s result.

Unbelievable that those coaches would be so undisciplined so early in an elimination game to lose their s*** and get tossed.
Angel Campos is a joke. MLB fired him in 2014. He has a history of questionable ejections. Not sure why is allowed to bring his clown show to Omaha.

Yep, the ESPN announcing crew really questioned the ejections, which also resulted in two game suspensions for prolonged arguing.

Btw, he’s the same umpire from our regional in 2023 that tossed Clemson’s Cam Cannarella during extra innings for talking smack to Tennessee…the mouthiest team on God’s green Earth.

Apparently baseball is in the “remaining 5%” after football (75%) and hoops (MBB 15% + WBB 5%) going forward but got to think things were being front loaded for this year’s squad.
