Even a 24 team playoff would be something. As long as you didnāt tie up all the spots the way the SEC and B1G are trying to do, whether itās auto bids or self serving rankings / formulas that disadvantage the G5 leagues, leaving it an open competition, college football would thrive across the country. Doing so would only increase its appeal, and all of those playoff games would generate so many viewers and much more money.
Itās such an obvious move to make, but itās being blocked by egos and greed.
clt says just let the SEC and BIG champions play each year for the championship
clt says bilas loves that plan
Army #25. Boise State at #12.
Iāll admit that I have never watched the weekly rankings show.
BTW, heard Paul Finebaum on ESPN Radio today and he trashed both IU and Bloomington. Of course, itās his job to do so with anything non-SEC!
Itās true. One thing that will help put doubts to rest is Indianaās last three games are all teams Oregon has already played, including Ohio State. If Indiana can win, especially in similar fashion, the comparisons are too direct to overlook despite historical football pedigree.
Oregon and Indiana share 6 opponents in their schedules.
Finebaum is a bag of used douches in a pile of manure.
UGA first team out. Wow!
You know itās comingā¦going to be an all SEC invitation eventually.
clt says miami is overrated. put indiana at 4
