SMU QB looks like a deer in the headlights. This is a disaster for them. I think he needs to be benched before he loses all confidence.

The scores do not indicate that the wrong teams were chosen and there has to be some weight given to the home field advantage and its impact. Something like 100K combined fans watched these four games and I am sure where rowdy and loud in each game.

I think this is a problem. To what degree is debatable. But it cannot be ignored so far. The higher ranked team should enjoy a bit of an advantage, but it feels like too much so far.
And I’m saying that as someone who prefers playing games on campus in the early rounds at least.
That also says something we’ve known for a long time about “power conference dominance” during regular season games, when so few of those teams rarely ever risk a true road game.
Didn’t seem possible, but Kirk proving that he can be even MORE insufferable.
