In fairnessâŚ
They want our coaches, they want our players, they want our teams to give them better records - but they donât want us to have a seat at the table.
F that
Paul Finebaum 2026 CFP is Billy Packer 2006 NCAAT all over again.
Let pricks like Finebaum have their way but change it to the P4 National Football Championship. They want us to accept their champion as our National Champion in football, but donât think we belong except to grovel for scraps. If they feel like we donât belong, then reclassify the name of their championship and let them sit around and circle jerk each other on who is the best of the least.
Fâem and donât need them.
All of this crap about the G6.
People need to remember that the P4 pad their records against the G6.
What would their records look like if they had to play all P4 teams? No G6 and no FCS?
The fact that we are there to play them alone should guarantee the G6 access.
Access equals money and exposure.
And we might one day pull off a big upset.
If they go to 16 they should have 2 G6 spots.
Thatâs a well stated argument
Just when you think things couldnât get any dumberâŚ
So itâs not a safety issue when the SEC schedules a bunch of FCS programs in November?

A 2nd ESPN talking head calls out the BS
Bud Elliot is a college football elitist. Getting rid of the G5 teams in the CFP opens up a spot for one of his underachieving âblue chip ratio teamsâ. He only puts value in a dozen or so blue blood college football programs and doesnât care about the overall health of the sport.
Wonât be the SEC helping the G6 with OOC scheduling.
clt says brett should use âdominantâ
good thing he doesnât right for a living
Could have put this in the college basketball thread. Anyway, football elitists who are also Billy Packer disciples and think they know soccer to boot!

The idea that they want the best teams is a lie too.
They just want brands. Their brands. Just like the NCAA tournament.
