Conference Predictions
11-7 +/- 1 win is probably what we are looking at. 5 of those ~7 losses will be after February 1st.

Weā€™ll win 1 game in Birmingham, miss the NIT, major will be fired, and the cupboard will NOT be bare for us to find the right guy and get it turned around. Going to need some heavy duty machinery to dig the program out of this grave we are in, but maybe weā€™ll get someone that is up to the task.

*Iā€™d love to be wrong and we reel off 20 wins between now and March including 3 in the conf tourney to get to the dance. The NIT is our absolute worst case scenario because it means probably another extension for AM so we can continue to recruit and waste high level talent.
not that this is going to happen, but should major get fired after this season, the new coach will not be walking into a program in the grave, rather, he will inherit a ton of talent assuming we keep izundu and whoever else we sign.

hopefully the new coach will be skilled/experienced enough and willing to coach the ton of talent he will inherit instead of destroying it like Alan Major did when he arrived.

geez dude, give it a rest. major didnt inherit anywhere near the talent that this hypothetical coach would. major inherited malcontents, a player who wouldnt go to class and some tiny guards.

Iā€™m starting to feel sorry for you tazz.

On the one hand, if you arenā€™t a troll, youā€™ve demonstrated that you have a serious inability to objectively understand the world you live in - but on the other, if you are a troll, you have taken on this gimmick for an unhealthy amount of time & should consider doing some soul searching before you waste another year of your life by deliberately trying to make others angry.

Iā€™m thinking 13-5. Thatā€™s more a reflection of our history of struggles in conference play under Major than it is any sort of indictment of the team or a reflection of the league.

ok ā€¦ AM inherits a 19-9 team (4starters) and tiny (pro level ) guard ā€¦no talent there ā€¦ and sucks in conference.

AM spends 5yrs recruiting a great deal of talent, some malcontents and big guards ā€¦ joins a lowly 1 big league ā€¦ and he sucks in conference.

Major has always had talent ā€¦ he just couldnā€™t and has not coached talent into a winning product period.

Wake up 55

49ers should go 14-4 in conference !

I predict we go 12-6 in conference, finish regular the season 19-12, and win two games in the conference tournament.

We win.

Probably. I hope we finish top 4 and win the tourney. Obi Wan, thatā€™s our ONLY hopeā€¦to go to the Dance.

Iā€™ll be more optimistic. 15-3, with losses to ODU (twice) and UTEP.

I predict disappointment, player quality regression, and a key player to transfer away.

Looked over the schedule and adjusted my expectations based on how the team is playing:

8-8 conference, 16-15 overall - worthy of a firing but might not happen. Hope Iā€™m wrong.

This is my nightmare as well. But mine ends with 2 key players leaving. GAAAAAA!!! >:D >:D >:D

5 teams with 120 or higher. If CUSA is ever going to get any better that number needs to double. Also, there needs to not be any teams at 300+, and outside of a few outliers who just are absolute shit, none should really be past 250.
